• Potential sequel overhaul would be scatter characters, create some new, use some old, plot hinges around a chosen one-esque new youngun, the macguffin of the story, who could be revealed as the alternate universe version of mike, aka glitch, at a younger age, signifying a broken timeline in said universe, and traveling over there would require remaining characters from last game to move on to power up. Some remaining, some inheritors, some pure noobs, and some powered up makes a new roster. Funky physics also needed. Threequel would be centered on an astrophysics response to the removal of the alternate dimensional beings. Titles: elements of origin, elements of reckoning, elements of release. The Reckoning will be the villain in game 2, and the release is the event in game 3. connection between them is that origin was the one who'd unknowingly opened the home side rift that dropped glitch/chi out. This threw off the timeline of the alternate reality, whose direction runs backward parallel to atlas realm. Past glitch was brought through, and the time gap broke his existence from the relative future out, meaning that chi/glitch never existed. This breaks everything up and allows another lab assistant to get the job instead, wishing to rule the universe. He dubs himself the reckoning. After his defeat and the return of the heir to his timeline, the crossed path they had to enact curved around the impact zone and triggered a big bang as the transporters flipped universe charges. The big bang event is known as the release. The release may or may not be beaten. After the first game, chi will directly question the player with a doubt of the validity and existence of the elements series. Long process in making these games.
