Well, er...not very simple, this one. This combines level select with world map and hub. there will be secrets located on hub maps as well.

Map Zoom - In EO, the level select area will be accessed in a number of ways, and a number of formats. As the story progresses, The area covered will increase and the map will be capable of displaying more, either by using pushpin access and by using the zoom capability of the map. It will start in the small suburb of "Atlasville, PA", and at a certain point in the story, increase to the state of PA, then to the country as a whole, then to the continent, then to the world, then to the star system, then to the galaxy, then to the universe near the end of the game before jumping through the IMPACT ZONE to atomic level cell level, organ system level, and back to the original size. as size areas are unlocked, it is still possible to go back to one you've already unlocked.

Alpha Zones - The physics and science of EO calls for an explanation of pocket dimensions. On the basis of string theory, alpha fluctuation, and time-space variation, Spheres of perfect living existence are located on the graph of x*Cosine(x^-2), with peaks and troughs being the center of each sphere. sometimes they overlap, causing the ability to pass over from one into another. as they get closer to the Impact Zone, the perfect universal singularity, they become increasingly smaller, and increasingly closer to one another. Overlaps become more of a possibility, and pocket-dimensions in the middle of the overlapping alpha field can be formed. Several of these exist inside EO, i.e. the Defenders At Home HQ inside of Tokyo, in a pocket. Only characters who can harness tachyons or items that can do the same, can provide transport to these, and across overlaps.
